Pick up a $18 daily AT Hop Day Pass ($10 for the hop card) (which offers you an easy one-purchase ticket for your entire day's travel - includes bus, ferry or train). Purchase from Queens Wharf, Fullers Ferries, Britomart or bus drivers. Bus - Birkenhead Transport
Serving the Birkenhead and North Shore community for over 75 years. This family run business is a key part of the Birkenhead village infrastructure. From Auckland city catch the cream and black/or more recently blue buses Birkenhead Bus 973 or 974 departing from Quay St (opposite the Harbour Control Building - 50 metres west of the Ferry Building on the opposite side of the road). You can also catch the 955 and 958 bus where you get off at the top of Onewa Road just before Auto Super Shoppe.
Buses depart every 20 mins Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturday and Sunday every 40 mins.
