randad's Medals! In a wonderful display of heartfelt sentiment the local youth and families of Birkenhead turned out yesterday to celebrate and honour the sacrifice made by our fathers and grandfathers so that we may enjoy the freedom we have today. Thousands of locals assemblied in a respectful and joyful tribute yesteday with many hundreds marching alongside the parade, while still more waited at the Memorial to pay their respects. The Birkenhead Village Association wreath was rightfully laid by local personality, Max Hines who proudly displayed his grandfather's medals as he laid the wreath on the Town Centre behalf. It was gorgeous green orchids and greenery with touches of burgundy and a blue ribbon to match the sky line view from the Village with a view!
